CLOCK ROCK: Debut video from post-Dananananaykroyd project Alarm Bells.

To celebrate the release of their debut 12" release Part One, Alarm Bells, the band featuring former members of Dananananaykroyd have unveiled a video for their track 'Cocoons'. The track takes the off-kilter catchiness of Dananananaykroyd's material to extremes, working in math-rock intricacies, vocals that switch between robotic and rock-operatic and flashes of Daft Punk-or-even-Apollo 440-esque processed guitar. The track is accompanied by Lachlan Rattray's strange, spartan 90's CGI-based video that will strike a chord with fans of Rachel Maclean's video for Errors' Pleasure Palaces single.

This is the info on Part One:

"Opener 'Whitemare' is a seamless epic running over 13 minutes, the B side features the 1-2 punch to the guts of 'Speeding Ticket' and 'Cycles', rounded off with the swift bewt in the behws that is first single 'Cocoons'. Smelt."

Quite frankly, the whole thing sounds nuts, and rather brilliant. Cocoons video and audio right here:
